This year, my family and I took a trip to Nilore, Pakistan, which is several miles from Islamabad, in a poor, rural area. We visited the Nilore Model School and donated books to them, given by teachers and students at The Walker School in Marietta, Georgia. We also used the proceeds of a Walker School bake sale to buy computer supplies for the school. The Nilore School was started in a garage and has gradually advanced to having students graduate and go to college.
